PAGUDPUD ADVENTURE

PAGUDPUD was conquered by us e 21^st of July. It is called “The Little BORACAY” of the North in the Philippines.

As far as I can remember our trip was
before the rainy season.

Some teachers said that it takes 12 hours
by bus but I didn’t believe their advice.

Two of my batch mates and I departed in the
PARTAS bus station at 4:30 AM.

After our bus left Baguio, I was leaning back
in my seat and fell asleep.

Every time the bus stopped at stations, I
meet a lot of Filipinos; I even talked with a young child.

We rode on the bus for 11 hours before

arriving at the PAGUDPUD bus station.

The bus driver told us “if you want to go

to PAGUDPUD beach, you should ride on a tri-cycle” That’s why we rode on a
tri-cycle for 30 minutes. 

Finally, we arrived at the Blue-lagoon

beach resort. At that time, I realized that my teachers’ were right. Although,
we saw some Koreans, we didn’t talk with them. We also saw many children who were
swimming in the clean sea.

Blue-lagoon had a fascinating natural beauty that’s why it is called the “Little
BORACAY” at the north.

Even though our group is just composed of three people, we had extra ordinary fun and we spent much time at the sea.We ate dinner at a sea-food restaurantwhere I am not sure about the exact location but it is near our resort.
One midnight, we went out for a star gazing

at the beach and I was amazed at the beauty of the sky. I will never forget the
magnificent view I saw.

Before we came back to Baguio, we took a

lot of pictures.

It was a very long journey but we had a

memorable experience and I appreciate the kind Filipinos. 

7월 21일날에 우리는 파굿풋을 다녀왔다. 필리핀 북쪽에 위치한 ‘작은 보라카이’라고 불리는 곳이다.
내가 기억하기로는 우기시즌 전에 우리는 여행을 다녀왔다.

몇몇 선생들이 버스를 이용하면 12시간 정도 걸린다고 했지만,
나는 그 말을 믿지 않았었다.

배치맴버 2명과 나는 새벽 4시 30분에 팔타스라는 버스 정류장에서 출발을 했었다.
바기오를 지나면서, 나는 의자에 기대어 잠을 청했었다.
버스는 모든 정류장에서 정차를 했었고, 그럴 때마다 나는 많은 필리핀사람들을

만났었다. 게다가 나는 굉장히 어린 친구와 이야기를 했었던 것이 기억난다.

우리는 정정 11시간 동안이나 버스를 타고, 파굿풋 버스 정류장에 도착했다.

그 버스 기사 아저씨는 우리들에게 “파굿풋 해변을 가고 싶으면, 트라이 택시를 타야만 한다”라고 말했다. 그리고, 우리는 트라이 택시를 탔고, 30분을 더 달려야만 했다.

마침내, 우리는 블루 라곤 해변에 도착을 했었고, 동시에 나는 선생들의 이야기가 옳다는 걸 느낄 수 있었다.

해변에서 우리는 한국사람들을 보았지만, 그들과는 대화를 하진 않았다.
또한, 우리는 파굿풋의 바다에서 수영을 즐기는 어린아이들까지 볼 수있었다.

블루 라곤은 경이로운 자연의 아름다움을 가지고 있었기 때문에 왜 작은 보라카이라고 불리어지는지를 알려주었었다.

비록, 우리는 겨우 3명뿐이었지만, 정말 잊지 못할 재미난 시간을 보냈고, 해변가에서도 많은 시간을보냈다.
우리의 저녁은 해산물 식당에서 먹었는데, 그 가게의 위치는 자세하게

기억이 나지 않지만 우리가 잡은 숙소와 가까운 것은 기억난다.  

그 날 밤, 우리는 해변으로 나갔었고, 수 많은 별들을 보았다. 정말 놀랍도록 아름다웠던 하늘이었다. 내가 보았던 그 대단한 하늘을 나는 결코 잊을 수 없을 것 같다.
바기오로 돌아오기 전에, 우리는 최대한 많은 사진을 찍었었다.
이번 여행은 정말 긴 여행이었지만, 우리는 잊지 못할 경험을 했고, 나는 착한 필리핀 사람들에게 감사함을 느끼고 있다.
