에이플러스 학원을 떠나며 Jayden
영어잘하는 친구 소개로 준비없이 오다보니 학원에 오기 전에는 막연한 기대와 걱정을 갖고 등록하였다.
원래는 캐나다로 바로 가려는 계획이 있었다. 그러나 영어를 바로 사용하게 되었을 때가 걱정이 되어서 필리핀 연계연수를 하게 되었다.
그 준비기간이 얼마 되지 않았기 때문에 서둘러 준비할 수 밖에 없었다.
그러나 학원에서 준비를 할 수 있는 모든 것을 도와주었기 때문에 수월히 준비를 할 수 있었다.
이렇게 필리핀으로 가는 연수가 시작되었다.
마닐라에 도착하고 바로 만날 수 있는 학원 관계자는 픽업도우미였다. 다른 각 공항에 내리는 모든 학생들을 픽업을 하여 학원까지 데리고 가는 것이었다.
사실, 마닐라부터 바기오까지의 거리는 제법 먼 거리였다. 그렇게 한참을 버스를 타고 도착한 학원은 필리핀의 건물이라고 하기에는 꽤나 괜찮은 외관을 보였다. 몇년전에 H학원의 고급반 기숙사였다고한다. 실력높은 학생들이 선택자격이 있으므로 그 당시학원학생들이 열심이 공부해서 이기숙사로 올려고 노력을 많이 할만큼 훌륭한 기숙사라고 한다. 해도 잘들고 바람도 잘 통하고 조용하고 시내와는 걸어서 10분거리고 배란다 와 거실이 있는 기숙사이기 때문이다.
그렇게 우리는 학원에와서 오리엔테이션을 마치고 에이플러스의 일원이 되어서 학원 생활이 시작되었다.
학원에서의 생활은 거의 모든 부분이 마음에 들었다.
그리고 특히나 수업을 하는 부분은 다른 학원과 견주어 보았을 때, 가장 높이 사는 부분일 것이다. 학원에 오기 전에는 일대일 수업의 중요성이나 가치를 느끼지 못하였지만, 여기서 수업을 일주일을 들어보고 일대일 수업의 중요성을 깨달았다.
그 이유는 일대일 수업은 한 선생님이 한 학생에게만 집중을 할 수 있는 시간이 주어지고 학생이 원하는 수업을 기초로 수업이 행하여 지기 때문에 영어실력을 높일 수 있는 중요한 역할을 한다고 생각을 하였다. 또한 에이플러스 학원의 장점은 선생님들의 실력의 질이 상당히 높다는 것이다.
사실 많은 학원들이 모여 있는 지역이 바기오에서 가장 좋은 실력이라면 믿을만하다고 할 수 있다.
내가 여기서 열심히 공부를 하였다고 할 수 있지만, 이렇게 상당히 빠른 기간에 많은 성과를 보였다고 나는 자신한다.
3 달밖에 되지 않는 시간 안에서 수 많은 선생님들과 학생들이 집중하여 서로 열심히 공부를 하였기 때문에 이러한 결과를 가져왔다고 할 수 있다.
3 달 동안 가장 늘었다고 생각하는 것은 역시 자신감과 나만의 영어스탈로 방향을 잡아가는것 이다.
처음에 학원에 도착하여서 외국인들과 말은 하는 것은 어렵다고 생각했던 것은 누구나 똑같을 것이다. 그러나 그러한 두려움을 없앨 수 있게 도와주었다.
그리고 선생님들의 특성과 학생들이 원하는 것들에 대해서 수업을 하기 때문에 나는 스피킹을 집중적으로 공부하였는데, 정말 많은 도움이 되었다. 수 많은 표현들과 자연스러운 문장을 만들기 위해서 노력한 결과였다.
이렇게 많은 것을 배우고 갈 수 있는 좋은 기회를 만들어 준 모든 선생님들과 부원장님을 비롯한 수 많은 관계자 분들에게 진심으로 감사를 드리고, 이제 나머지 남은 나의 외국생활에서 더욱 많이 생각날것 같다.

I registered with vague expectation and worry before come to academy. I had original plan that goes justly to the Canada But, when I used justly English, had worried Philippines link research study. I could prepare in a hurry because the preparatory period was very short. But, because academy helped everything could prepare, I could prepare easily. Like this, my studying was beginning.
I arrived in Manila and met justly academy official who was pickup helper. He took throughout all students to academy because do pickup to other each airport. In fact, distance to Baguio was great far distance from Manila. So, quite good external appearance was seen as distance from one stage says that academy which takes a bus and arrives is Philippine building. And then we finish orientation and become A-plus academy's member.
I liked Life almost all part of academy. And specially, class might be the highest level if we compared with other academy. Although I did not feel importance or value of one to one class before came into academy, but, in here, I realized importance of one to one class when I had class for a week. Because the reason was performed class based on class that one to one class times that teacher Han can converge to a student is given and a student wants, thought that act important role that can improve ability in English. Also, advantage of A-plus academy is that teachers' quality of ability is fairly high. I am sure that A-plus academy’s quality is good because this is the best in Baguio where had a lot of academies.
I’m convinced that studied hard here, but I am confident that a lot of results were seen in fairly early period like this. Because great many teachers and students converge and studied hard each other for two months, it can be said that brought these result. I have things which think that increased most for two months is pride. Initially, I arrived in the academy and thought about speaking to foreigners is difficult to do. But, the academy helped as can rid such fear. And because studied about that special quality and students of teachers want, I studied speaking concentrically, was helped really much. It was as result that try to create great many expressions and natural sentence.
I heartily thank to vice president and official staff blind man who make a right opportunity that can go learning a lot of things. And I much remember such as this experience.
