About Halloween day...

I have expected about Halloween day 5 Months ago. Because <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Korea doesn't have Halloween party. I have watched TV about Halloween party since when I was young. There are people who are wearing special costumes like witch and princess while they enjoy the party. So, I also wanted to enjoy the party. I always expected Halloween day.

Actually, the Halloween day is for dead people. Many people wear various kinds of costumes. At night, when it gets dark, people collect candies and chocolates from each house until they feel tired. And when they get candies, they have to say "Trick or Treats" out loud to get the goodies, else people won't hand candies easily. Also, on Halloween day, it's a celebration day people with older ages do fireworks or hand out the candies. That is why people could hear fake gun shots every where on that day. Furthermore, on this fascinating day, I heard there is special food that people can eat only on Halloween day, they are the pumpkin pies on Halloween day, people enjoy special party that Asia doesn't have. So, I always wait for Halloween day.

When Halloween day gets near, we talked about Halloween day in class time with teachers. Both of students and teachers are very excited. I think Halloween day is one of the biggest parties in the world. I asked my teacher what kind of costume both the teachers and students wore last Halloween day. So, my teacher told me, "People wore devil, ghost, witch and Michle Jackson." I envied all countries Halloween day. We also have special days which are chu-suk and sul as big as Halloween day. But Halloween day makes both children and adults enjoy the party more than our special days.

Teachers decorated every break time. Some students also made something to help the teachers. Some teachers can attend the party but some teachers can't. After last my class, I wore the most beautiful clothes I have with a crown on my head. Bonita and I went to the 5th floor to take pictures. It was decorated perfectly than is forenoon. When I went up there, I saw bats hanging down from the ceiling, candles were next to the stairs and tables were set with chairs that people can sat on. The party started at 8 p.m. I went to the 5th folly with my friends to enjoy the party. I saw people who were wearing special consumes like spider man, cat woman, princess, vampire and devil in death note. Many students prepared their costumes. When I took pictures with teachers, student manager danced with other students. Then teacher Pearl and Cris danced tango. And Ace who Sean's formal room mate and Raira who my formal room mate, sang Korean song together. Both of them sang better than I expected. Then we picked out who has the best costume in the party. Spider man won among the students and Cris ho was wearing devil in death note won among the teachers. When I saw Cris, I already knew that Cris won. Because, Cris prepared beautiful costume, wings and mask. And the biggest class room in 5th floor was changed into club. But when the show was finished, most teachers and students left already. So, I asked the student manager, "Is the party finished?" the student manager told me, "Actually, the party didn't finish yet."

However, most people left already, so the party was finished. And then we went outside to find special things. Because, when I watched the TV, all of children walk up and down to receive candies. So, I also expected that situation. But there wasn't any thing. I think Halloween day was changed as our special day was changed. So, I couldn't see children who wore special costumes, I was so interested in Halloween party and I was so delighted that I had a new experience I have never experienced before. Even if I go back to Korea, I can’t ever forget Halloween day.
