Mt. Pulag National Park

Mount Pulag (Filipino: Bundok Pulag) is Luzon’s highest peak at 9,600 ft above sea level. The borders between the provinces of Benguet, Ifugao, and Nueva Vizcaya meet at the mountain´s peak.

It is the third highest mountain in the Philippines, next to Mount Apo and Mount Dulang-dulang.

Mount Pulag is famous for its "sea of clouds" and the view of the Milky Way Galaxy at dawn, which has attracted many tourists who wish to see the "other-worldly" scenery

Climb the highest peak in Luzon at Mt. Pulag National Park, a summit rising nearly 3,000 m above sea level. The well-maintained trail and great conditions make this ascent suitable for even beginners, but keep in mind that temperatures drop toward the top, so consider bringinbg extra layers of clothing. Once you´ve reached the top, the climb rewards you with breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and a sea of clouds, forming a famous sight in the area. During your trek, keep your eyes peeled for threatened species, such as the Philippine deer and the long-haired fruit bat. Try to reach the peak before dawn to catch the awesome view of the sun rising above the clouds
