As for the future, he said he’s working on two film projects, one in English and the other in Korean. 앞으로의 계획에 대해서 그는 영어로 된 영화와 한국어 영화 한편 두 프로젝트를 진행하고 있다고 말했습니다.]]> Fri, 28 Feb 2020 17:40:58 +0000 캐나다에서 처음 대학부설에서 공부했는데 좋은 점은 대학에서 관리하는 케네디안 홈스테이 가정에서 홈스테이를 할수 있고 대학내 부설이다보니 모든 수업이 아카데믹하고 타이트하게 이루어졌다. 좋은 점은 아카데믹한 수업과 철저한 시험과 성적관리 였다. 한 학기동안의 시험과 과제 점수가 특과활정으론 받지 못하면 다음 레벨로 올라갈수 없고 다시 한 학기를 같은수업을 들어야한다. 나쁜점은 학생수가 많지 않아 레벨이 세분화되어있지않고 3~4 레벨 밖에 없어 같은 레벨이라도 학생들과 레벨차이가 너무 많이 나서 수업진도를 따라가는데 어려움이 많았다. 수업시간도 하루에 5시간으로 너무 짧고 방학들이 있어 쉬는 날이 너무 많았다. 두번쨰 시골에서 한 학기수업을 마치고 벤쿠버로 이동해서 대학부설이 아닌 유학원에서 추천해준 사설 일반 ESL 아카데미를 다녔다. 장기등록을 해야 수업료가 저렴하기 때문에 6개월을 등록하고 했는데, 벤쿠버에서의 사설 ESL학원은 좋은점을 찾아볼수가 없었다. 한시간에 학생수도 18명19명 정도로 너무 많았고 수업시간도 5시간으로 극히 짧았다. 선생님도 1명의 선생님이 모든수업을 가르치는 구조인데 선생님이 마음에 들지 않아도 바꿀수가 없었고 수업 커리큘럼,교재,수업방식,구성 모두 마음에 들지 않았다. 학생들을 타이트하게 관리하지도 않았고 수업자체가 체계적이지 못했다. 아이엘츠,토플같은 수업은 특정레벨이 아니면 등록할수가 없어서 처음 배정받을때 좋은선생님에게 배정받지 못하면 학생들이 요청할수 있는건 아무것도 없었다. 한반에 학생수가 20명 가량으로 한국,일본,대만,브라질,멕시코 등 선생님이 학생들을 모두 신경써줄수 없었고 선생님과 대화할수 있는 시간은 극히 드물었다. 나는 결국 그 학원이 마음에 들지않아 환불을받고 다른 학원을 찾아야했고 그와중에 좋은 튜터선생님을 만날수 있어서 일주일에 1대1수업을 두세번정도 1시간씩 수업을 들었다. 솔직히 ESL 사설 어학원에서는 영어가 늘었다는 생각이 전혀 들지 않았고 튜터 선생님과 일대일 수업을 하면서 늘었다는 생각을 하고 필리핀에 일대일 수업을 가장 많이 받을수 있는 학원, 선생님들 변경이 용이한 학원,덥지 않고 공부하기 좋은 환경을 가진 지역을 검색하다보니 바기오 A-Plus를 알게되었다. 처음에 에이플러스 어드벤스를 등록시 24주를 등록했지만, 부족하다는 생각과 더 공부해야된다는 생각에 4주를 더 연장을 하게 되었다. 캐나다에서의 수업과 필리핀에서의 수업을 비교하자면, 필리핀에서는 전체수업이 아닌 1대1개인수업을 많이 받을수 있고 개개인한테 모든 선생님이 맞춤수업을 해준다는 점이다. 영어를 advanced 수준등급이상으로 할수 있다면 캐나다나 미국의 대학부설에서 아카데믹하게 공부하는것을 추천하지만 영어가 비기너 등급이라면 캐나다나 미국으로 바로 가지말고 필리핀에서 기본실력을 찾고 가기를 강력추천한다. 유학원에서 알려주지 않아서 에이플러스 어드벤스를 몰랐었고 기초가 많이 부족한 상태에서 캐나다로 바로 가서 거기서 적응하고 비기너를 벗어나는데 오랜시간이 걸렷다. 처음에 필리핀으로 와서 4달~6달 기초를 쌓고 캐나다나 미국으로 건너간다면 단기간에 영어가 많이 늘것이라고 확신한다. 캐나다에서는 일대일 수업이 아니기 때문에 수업진도를 따라가지 못하거나 몰라도 선생님이 신경을 안쓰고 개개인이 혼자 공부를 해야하거나 튜터 선생님에게 일대일 수업비용을 또 따로 지불하고 물어보는 수 밖에없다. 필리핀에서 수업의 단점은 native speaker가 아니라는점이 있지만 비기너에게는 중요하게 작용하지 않으며 여기서 열심히 공부할 마음만 먹고온다면 기대 이상의 효과를 거둘것이라고 확신한다.]]> Fri, 21 Feb 2020 18:46:09 +0000 안녕하세요 저는 미와 라고 합니다 저는 일본학생 중에 한 명이고, 여기서 16주를 공부했습니다. 거의 4개월과 같습니다 그리고 저는 세미스파르타 코스로 등록하였습니다 제가 에이플러스 어학원을 선택한 이유는 선생님 수준이 높기 때문입니다. 선생님들은 영어 교사로서 오랜 경력을 가지고 있으며 매우 친절합니다. 여기 선생님들은 초보 학생들을 자주 가르치다 보니 저처럼 영어를 잘 못하는 분들은 아무 걱정 없이 수업을 할 수 있습니다. 게다가 에이플러스의 장점은 다른 학원들보다 더 많은 수업을 하고 있습니다. 이러한 이유 때문에 저는 에이플러스에서 공부하기로 하였습니다. 저는 1대1 수업 5시간, 1대4 그룹수업 2시간, 선택그룹 수업 3시간을 진행하였습니다. 학기 말에 저는 일부 선택그룹수업을 빼먹었지만, 수업량이 많아 만족했습니다. 그래서 저는 외국인들과 영어로 대화해야 하는 환경에 둘러싸여 있었습니다. 그 결과 저의 영어실력은 조금씩 향상되고 있습니다. 여가 시간에는 제 배치메이트나 선생님과 함께 밖에서 음식을 먹거나 쇼핑을 했습니다. 세션로드 라고 부르는 곳에는 많은 식당, 술집, 음식 노점상, 카페들이 있습니다. 세션로드 근처에서 열리는 나이트마켓에서도 저희는 이국적이거나 현지 음식을 볼 수 있습니다. 만약 여러분들이 나이트마켓에 갈 기회가 있다면 저는 현지 음식을 먹어보는 것을 추천하고 싶습니다. 어쨌든 바기오 시 주변에는 가볼 만한 장소들이 많습니다. 그리고 서핑, 수영, 다이빙을 해 볼 수도 있습니다. 여러분들은 휴일이나 주말을 어떻게 보낼지에 대해 걱정할 필요가 없습니다. 마지막으로 저는 여기서 안정된 생활을 마음껏 보낼 수 있었습니다. 친절한 몇몇 선생님, 배치메이트들, 편안한 환경에 감사합니다. 4개월은 길어 보이지만 짧습니다. 그 기간 동안 저의 영어실력은 초급에서 중급으로 향상되었습니다. 그리고 많은 친구들도 만들수 있었습니다. 저는 에이플러스 어학원을 선택해서 정말 기쁩니다. 만약 여러분들도 마음을 정하지 못하셨다면, 저는 여러분들이 에이플러스 어학원을 선택하시라고 추천드립니다. Hello everyone. My name is Miwa I’m one of the Japanese student here, I have been studying English here for 16weeks almost 4months. And I have registered for semi-Sparta course The reason why I chose Aplus academy is that quality of teachers is high. They have a career as a English teachers and they are so friendly as well They also used to teaching beginners. So people who cannot speak English well like me can have classes without any worries. In addition the advantage that this academy has is that it has more classes than other academies which is one the reason why I choose to study here. In my case, I have one on one classes for 5 hours, and group classes for 2hours, free classes for 3hours a day. At the end of term I skipped the free classes but I was satisfied with amount of classes.. So I was surrounded by environment that I have to speak English with my foreign friends. So as a result, my English skill is improving little by little. In my free time, I usually go outside with my batch mate or teachers to eat or buy something. The road which we call session road has many restaurants, pubs, food street vendors and cafes. Also at the night market that is held nearby session road, we can see some exotic or local food. If you guys have opportunity to go night market, I want to recommend eating local food. Anyway, there are some places you can visit around Baguio city. And you can go surfing, swimming and diving. So you don’t need to worry about how to spend holiday or weekend. To wrap up, I could spend my stable life to fullest. Thanks to kind and some teachers, also batch mate and comfortable environment. 4months seems to be long but short. In the time, my English skill could improve from beginner to pre-intermediate.
