Hello!
I am a student who studied language at the A+ Advance Academy for about 5 months (12 weeks Sparta course, 8 weeks IELTS course).

I've always read reviews, but it's awkward to write reviews myself.
But now that I have the ability and confidence to write an honest review, I write for other students preparing to study abroad.

Prior to my language training, my situation was very exhausted by my two-year postgraduate work, and the biggest reason was English.

It was really stressful to read a lot of English papers that I read everyday as a graduate student, and to publish a script that was just written with Google Translator and not be able to answer questions. And I had to make a decision. The answer I found at that time was language training in the Philippines after graduation.

And among the many candidates, I chose the A+ Advance Academy in Baguio.

The focus of my study was not on the routine of a large language institute, but on the free way to study English, and on the convenience of Koreans rather than foreigners.

And finally, it was a place where teachers had passion and high quality of education. And it was A+ Advance Academy that was happy with these three things.

Life at the academy was almost like what I thought.

I liked the food that was tailored to Korean tastes, the passion of teachers for education, the student-oriented curriculum, the family-like atmosphere, the free environment after class.

And for the first two months, I only spoke English like crazy. I couldn't say a word. One word, two words, one sentence, two sentences! As I have experienced and listened to and studied a lot, the basic sentence structure of English came into my head and there were teachers who were really happy to see it, so I could only run forward. (I was a graduate student, but I was really ignorant about English.)

But it didn't mean that I didn't experience a slump in foreign life. At the end of two months, my passion and energy for English was gone and I had a little  hard time.

But I found A+ Advance Academy's speciality in something I didn't consider before I chose the academy. It was that there were a lot of Koreans in a family-like atmosphere. Unlike other language schools, there were not only university students but also many people who came to study English while they were in society. They told me a good story when I was exhausted from class, how to study effectively and adjust his condition, and so on.

Of course, the first thing to consider when choosing a language school is that the ratio of teachers to students is almost one to one. It is a very good condition.
And I think I can overcome the slump even though I have to choose a private institute with many good teachers.

I studied really hard in this academy, and even though I am different in age in my free time, I relieved my stress by sharing good stories with many people who shared a common interest in English. People can't just study.

Thanks to people, I was able to overcome my slump and practice making new words, advanced sentences, and more efficient sentences by changing to IETS courses for the remaining two months (of course it's really not easy).

And now, I graduated from A+ Advance Academy and continue to study as a researcher at the National University in Japan. And based on the English skills I learned here, I am studying with my professors and fellow students recognizing my ability.

Lastly, I am thankful that I spent my 28 here and I want to keep all my memories for a long time. I want to thank all the teachers who taught me once again. Thank you so much for your English skills and your time, memory, and experience at the A+ Advance Academy that you were able to grow as a human being. Thank you for reading it.

P.S) I wrote my experiences and memories of my study here. I thought it would be easy to access through the homepage or other internet information about overall contents of the class, schedule, and life of Baguio.
